Kings Run Farm Sales Policy
Waiting list (Starting Fall 2018 I will only have a Wish list with no deposit until kid is born and selected). Once notified of the kid’s birth you then have 24 hours to respond back or the kid will be offered to the next person on the wish list. You will stay in your position on the wish list until the kid you want is selected. So, if you pass on first kids born, you’ll get choice of the next available kids born.
Reservations and Payments
As kids are born they will be added to my For Sale page and Facebook. Once a kid is selected a non-refundable deposit of 1/2 of the kid's purchase price is required within 4 business days for instate (or 6 business days for out of state) to hold the kid until weaning/pickup. If the deposit is not received within time stated above the kid will be offered to the next person who is interested.
Deposits can be made by cash, money order, certified check or Paypal. NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted, so please don't ask. Once the deposit is submitted, it is non-refundable (unless the animal becomes unavailable due to our decision or the animal is found unsound as discussed in the health guarantee).
Final payment must be made either prior to or at pick up by cash, PayPal or certified check only.
If using PayPal....Please add 3% fee if you are not using the family and friend option.
I reserve the right to retain any animal on my farm.
Pick Up Date
Weaned kids will be ready for pick up between 8 to 12 weeks after their birth. We will set up a pick up date with you prior to this time. Reserved kid is expected to be picked up within 10 days of this date. After this time, a boarding fee of $2 per day /per kid will be charged and must be paid at time of pick up. If the reserved kid is not picked up within 21 days after the specified pick up date, the prospective buyer relinquishes any deposit paid, and any ownership rights to the kid (kids). Kids will then become the property of Kings Run Farm and will go back up for sale.
Kids will have Registration application or can be registered thru us online when they leave. It is up to you to actually register them if you choose not to have us register them online. Kids will have up to date CD/T vaccination, hooves trimmed and be tattooed. All kids will be dis-budded (unless they are polled), between 2 days and 2 weeks of age.
(You must notify me ASAP if you would like the horns left on. This requires that the kid be paid for in full (which is non-refundable) at the time of the request)
Delivery up to 100 miles (round trip) is available at a rate of 50 cents per mile (each way) which must be paid prior to the trip.
Health Guarantee
You have the right to have any animal you purchase examined, on our property by a Veterinarian, at your expense prior to pick up. If, at this pre-purchase exam the vet finds the kid to be unsound any deposits will be refunded.
Kids are healthy at the time they leave our property. I cannot guarantee the health of the animal once it leaves our property. Since, I can no longer control the animal’s environment or management once they leave my care, I assume no responsibility.

New goat owners, Please research all you can on goat care and have a vet that treats goats lined up prior to ownership.
